Korea - Switzerland Call for Joint R&D Project Outlines in EUREKA

Korea and Switzerland are announcing a bilateral call for joint R&D projects focusing on developing innovative and market oriented products and applications.
The call is announced within the framework of the Declaration of Intent on Call for Proposal among the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology KIAT, the Commission for Technology and Innovation CTI and the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI. The call is managed in cooperation and in line with the international procedures of EUREKA.
Applicants are expected to develop ready to market solutions or projects, which have a significant market potential for Korea and Switzerland.
KIAT, CTI and SERI will provide access to public funding for joint projects. They will also provide all necessary and coordinated assistance to project partners during project proposal, evaluation and monitoring phase.
The procedure is divided in two phases:
1) In the first phase, partners will be asked to present a short project outline form (see "Joint_CH-KR_Call_Project_Outline.docx" in attachment).
The completed form should be submitted by e-mail simultaneously to all contacts at KIAT, CTI and SERI (see list of contacts in the Call description) between 08 April, 2015 and 19 June, 2015. The submission has to be copied to all partners of the project outline.
The outlines will be assessed by KIAT, CTI and SERI together. The applicants will be notified of the results of the common assessment within one month after the submission of a project outline.
2) In the second phase, partners with eligible project outlines will be invited to submit their full funding applications to KIAT for Korean partners and to CTI or SERI for Swiss partners. The applications have to be in line with the rules of KIAT, CTI and SERI.
