Aim: The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is inviting proposals for the latest round of Grand Challenges Explorations, which foster innovation to solve key health and development problems. Three main challenges are presented in this call:
Funding: USD 100,000 initially, with up to USD 1 million in follow-up funding given project success.
Eligibility: Applicants can be at any experience level; in any discipline; and from any organization, including colleges and universities, government laboratories, research institutions, non-profit organizations and for-profit companies.
How to Apply: Proposals must be submitted online by clicking the "Apply For This Opportunity" button on the webpage for each open challenge, which can be accessed through the grant opportunity list.
