Whether you have just started your PhD or whether you are doing a Postdoc, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn more on how to develop your academic research career and get funding.
This training session will be given by experienced high-level speakers from Swiss and International institutions committed to support young researchers’ career. Researchers from all disciplines are welcome!

14.00 – 16.00 | Top tips for developing and funding your academic research career
Dr. Candy Hassall, Head of Wellcome Trust Researcher Affairs.
With over 20 years of experience in supporting young researchers, Dr. Hassall will provide advice on how to develop your academic research career, write successful proposals and much more.
 
16.00 – 16.30 | Euraxess career services and Swissuniversities mobility scholarships
Ariane Studer, responsible of Euraxess/Swissuniversities.
Ms. Studer will present the career support and other services offered to young researchers by EURAXESS and Swiss universities. You will also learn about the EURAXESS job database and Swissuniversities scholarships for study abroad.  

16.30 – 16.50 | Selection of funding opportunities to boost your career
Research Office team members
A selection of Swiss and international funding opportunities intended for young researchers  including mobility, short-term exchanges, independent research and proof of concept, will be presented.
