Embark on a journey to Space and into the heart of the Arctic - under extreme conditions.
Julia Schmale, professor at the Extreme Environment Research Laboratory at EPFL, will share her experience of the Arctic drift experiment MOSAiC. Chloé Carrière, president of the association Space@yourService, will speak about the Asclepios project: a simulating mission on another celestial body.
Julia Schmale: 
Specialist in atmospheric sciences, Julia Schmale is a professor at the Extreme Environment Research Laboratory at EPFL. From January till June 2020, she participated in the Arctic drift experiment MOSAiC. She is active in international and interdisciplinary research efforts in the Arctic as a representative of Switzerland.
Chloé Carrière:
Chloé Carrière is a physics student at EPFL and president of the association Space@yourService, whose mission is to make space science more accessible. She manages space-related events such as Astronomy on Tap Lausanne and the Asclepios mission which simulates a mission on another celestial body for educational and research purposes.
