In these two talks I will discuss what is known about the Chow groups of K3 surfaces. Chow groups of (K3) surfaces are rather mysterious and many deep conjectures remain wide open. Eg Bloch's conjecture for surfaces with p_g=0 or finite dimensionality a la Kimura. Chow groups reflect the specific geometry of a surface as well as the arithmetic of the surface. I will approach these questions from two angles: The Bloch-Beilinson conjecture for surfaces over number fields and a well known conjecture about the density of rational curves on K3 surfaces. In particular, I shall introduce a new type of curves, so called constant cycle curves, which generalize rational curves.
