The SV Postdoc association is glad to continue its collaboration with Debiopharm group in co-organizing a new conference as part of the Debiopharm Academy. Debiopharm is a Swiss-based global biopharmaceutical group of companies with a focus on the development of innovative prescription drugs that target unmet medical needs. Oncology is the group’s main area of expertise (https://www.debiopharm.com/). Debiopharm Academy aims to promote constructive conversation between academia and industry, by sharing experiences and understanding of today’s challenges. In this opportunity, Debiopharm will give a 45-minute talk called “Phase I clinical trials : experience from a mid-size Pharma : The recent BIA-10-2474 Phase I French fatal clinical trial, analysis and consequences”. In order to promote and enhance the interaction between EPFL scientists and the company, the presentation will be followed by an apéro where the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss personally with people from Debiopharm. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 4th from 17h00 at BC420.
