Speaker Archana Mantri is currently holding the position of Pro Vice Chancellor at Chitkara University, Chandigarh, India. She has successfully experimented and launched the scalable model of PBL that  has resulted in pedagogical transformation of UG Engineering Education in the region of North India. She is PhD(Engg) and has Electronics and Communication Engineering as her background. Her research interests include Fibre Optic Communication Equipments besides Education Technology.

The seminar with the title: "Designing Problems for PBL Oriented Courses: Cognitive and Pedagogical Issues" will present and highlight the direct relation between the type of Open Ended Problems (OEPs)used to serve as the opening trigger and pedagogical tool to congition of the learners. The data sheets will present a comparision of  construction of knowledge of Treatment Group to the Control Group. The seminar will also present how the model on PBL can be made scalable using the same of set of OEPs.
