Double Book Launch: Kunsthal Rotterdam & Centre Pompidou / ACHT, ARCHIZOOM
Two PhD's written at EPFL and supervised by Roberto Gargiani and Christophe Van Gerrewey have recently been published as a book. The Live Centre of Information (Actar, Barcelona) is Boris Hamzeian's study of the Centre Pompidou in Paris by Rogers & Piano; OMA's Kunsthal in Rotterdam (Park Books, Zürich) is Tibor Pataky's essay on one of the most important buildings of OMA/Rem Koolhaas. During a double book launch, these two canonical buildings for art and culture, opened to the public in 1977 and 1992, will be discussed by the authors together with Christophe Van Gerrewey, Françoise Fromonot, Eric Lapierre and Pier Vittorio Aureli.
