This workshop is given in French and English. TP and labs provide opportunities for students to gain the practical skills of a discipline, to apply and deepen their learning and to develop skills in how to manage projects and tasks.
How can labs and TP be planned in ways that will both support and guide students, while allowing them develop their autonomy?
How can the learning goals of a lab or of practical work be made explicit to students?
How can students be supported and guided to manipulate tools and instruments and observe and interpret phenomenon and data?
How can students be provided opportunities to apply their knowledge and improve their skills?
What approaches can be used to evaluate students?
How can feedback be provided in manageable but effective ways?
