The EPFL School of Life Sciences is considering an expansion of its effort in the area of stem cell biology and bioengineering through the recruitment of junior faculty. To explore this avenue further, the Institute of Bioengineering organizes a one-day symposium featuring young scientists at the very forefront of the field, active in areas such as functional genomics and epigenetics of embryonic stem cells (ESC) and induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells, stem cell bioengineering or stem cell-based tissue engineering.
