The FENS-IBRO Imaging Training Center will be dedicated to state-of-the-art mapping of brain structure and functions. The principal objectives will be to train participants in the latest available methods/technologies and analysis techniques, and the current applications in basic and clinical neuroscience research. Emphasis will be placed on:
1) cutting-edge imaging technologies and their mutual integration,
2) advanced signal analysis including real-time analysis,
3) combined applications of different methods for basic-clinical translational research, and
4) integration of neuroimaging with techniques from robotics and virtual reality.
Specific methods that will be covered in the program include electrophsysiological recordings (high-resolution scalp EEG and intracranial recordings in humans), real time fMRI and EEG, MR structural imaging and tractography, high field 7T fMRI, TMS, and peripheral psychophysiology.
