Fondation Sanfillipo | Research funding

The Swiss Sanfilippo Foundation is renewing a call for proposals to support research projects focusing on a therapeutic approach for Sanfilippo syndrome (MPS III). Proposals that offer an innovative approach will receive special attention.

In addition to the currently funded programmes, the Foundation intends to support the development of new projects in the fields of stem cells, genetic engineering, blood-brain barrier crossing products, enzyme therapy, molecular chaperones and substrate reduction therapies as well as the repurposing of existing drugs.

In the framework of this call for proposals, particular attention will be paid to projects proposing an innovative therapeutic approach. Projects developed in Switzerland will also be favoured.
