The Research Grants Council of Hong Kong is launching the 10^th round of the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme.

The Scheme aims to attract top international students to pursue PhD studies in Hong Kong research universities. 250 PhD Fellowships will be awarded in the 2020/21 academic year. Candidates will be selected either by the Selection Panel on Science, Medicine, Engineering and Technology or by the Selection Panel on Humanities, Social science and Business Studies.

Funding: monthly stipend of HK$25’800 (approx. USD 3’300) + a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$12’900 (approx. USD 1’700) per year.
Duration: 36 months, starting in the academic year 2020/21.
