The Innovative Governance of Large Urban Systems (IGLUS) research lab, Chair MIR, college of management of technology (CDM) is organizing a research day for EPFL and UNIL Doctoral students who are working on the urban related issues on 14th May 2014. Students from different labs in EPFL and UNIL are invited to present their research and have a discussion with other PhD students as well as professors who are working on related topics. The main focus of the research day is on governance – technology and performance in cities. Some of the proposed themes for presentations are:

- Technology and Innovation management for SMART cities
- Economic development and growth of cities
- Urban planning, architecture and performance of cities
- Management and governance of Urban Energy systems
