Aim:  Advances in science and technology can drive the next generation of skincare innovations.  Today, cutting edge dermatological research and technologies hold the potential to revolutionize pore minimizing and anti-aging solutions.

To that end, Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc., and Alibaba’s TMALL announce the Skincare of the Future QuickFire Challenge, calling on innovators to submit products, services and technologies aiming to help consumers tackle the world’s toughest skincare challenges, with a specific focus on pore minimizing and anti-aging solution.

Innovators are invited to submit their development-stage ideas* aiming to improve skincare for the chance to receive support from both the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies and Alibaba’s TMALL. The innovator(s) with the most promising potential solution(s) will receive up to $50,000 in total grant funding, one year of residency at JLABS @ Shanghai, mentorship from the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, and the chance to launch their product through Alibaba’s Tmall, the largest e-commerce platform in China with the aim to help them cultivating their product in the Chinese market**.

* Ideas must be on the path to commercialization by June 2021
** Please note that awardees are required to demonstrate the ability and/or intention to operate within China and sell through TMALL channels

Funding:        $50,000

Duration:      1 year
