Lecture: Prof. Alexandre Alahi, 'When AI Meets Humanity for Transportation.'

We are pleased to invite the public to join a lecture by our distinguished guest, Prof. Alexandre Alahi, given in conjunction with the EPF|ETH summer school on Relational Space / Relational Urbanism. A brief discussion will follow. 

Professor at EPFL, Alexandre Alahi works on the theoretical challenges and practical applications of socially-aware systems, i.e., machines that can not only perceive human behavior, but reason with social intelligence in the context of transportation problems and smart spaces. His research is centered around understanding and predicting human social behavior with multi-modal visual data and spans multiple aspects of socially-aware system.
