BIOENGINEERING SEMINAR

Abstract:
Poly(L-glutamic acid)-paclitaxel (PG-TXL) represents a few of nano-formulations that had reached the stage of phase III clinical trials. This talk will provide an overview of the preclinical and clinical evaluations of PG-TXL, and discuss lessons learned from this ordeal. While reflecting on issues concerning clinical translation of nano-formulations, this talk will provide future perspectives on nanotechnology, exemplified by both pharmacological and physical approaches to modulate tumor stroma and enhance immune checkpoint blockade therapy.
