Molecular and Hybrid Materials Characterization Center - Kick-Off Meeting
The Molecular and Hybrid Materials Characterization (MHMC) Center is a central user facility, which has been set-up at the School of Engineering to serve the materials characterization needs of the EPFL community.

The mission of this facility is to provide state-of-the art facilities for the characterization of soft (organic, polymer, biological), nano- and hybrid materials. In a first stage, the services provided by the facility will concentrate on two platforms: (i) sizes and size distributions of macromolecules and particles in solution and (ii) thermal properties and thermodynamic parameters of interactions in solutions. In a second stage, we hope to be able to expand the facility to include other key areas as well.

Drinks and sandwiches will be available. In order to facilitate planning of the catering, please register here: http://www.doodle.com/zkwd6acxuxuinqab

The agenda of this kick-off meeting will include:
1. Presentation of the structure and organization of the MHMC center.
2. Overview of the techniques and services that are offered.
3. Further development of the center.
4. General discussion: suggestions for further techniques
