Dr. Ellen Stofan, NASA's Chief Scientist since 2013, will speak about the NASA's research that is pushing the boundaries of our knowledge concerning Earth, the Solar System, and the universe.
This event is organised with the support of the Embassy of the United States in Switzerland.
Bio: Dr Stofan has a degree in geology from the College of William and Mary and a Ph.D. in geological sciences from Brown University. She is the co-author of “Planetology: Unlocking the Secrets of the Solar System” with astronaut Tom Jones, and her research areas of interest include the geology of Earth, Venus, Mars and Titan, Saturn’s largest moon.
