Satellite positioning systems are commonly used in civil aviation and maritime transport. Nevertheless, and despite the high penetration of car navigation systems into the mainstream, challenges do remain to optimise the use of satellite navigation in ground transportation and road telematics.
During this conference, the latest progress of navigation technologies applied to the professional world of ground transportation will be presented, with special emphasis on transport safety, traffic management and fleet management.
