NRP 72 "Antimicrobial Resistance" (pre-proposals)

Event details
Date | 11.01.2016 |
Speaker | Fonds National Suisse (FNS / SNSF) |
Category | Call for proposal |
Researchers may submit their pre-proposals in the frame of the National Research Programme "Antimicrobial Resistance" (NRP 72).
This Programme is expected to improve our knowledge about the origin of resistance genes and their distribution mechanisms, develop swift diagnostic tools, analyse new antimicrobial molecules and propose intervention measures.
Since antimicrobial-resistant bacteria are present in human and animal hosts as well as in the environment, NRP is addressing the issue with a one-health approach.
Research projects of NRP 72 are limited to a maximum of 48 months. The average budget of a project is expected to range between 300,000 to 400,000 CHF.
A two-stage submission procedure is used for NRP 72: Pre-proposals are submitted first, a selection of proposals is then invited to submit a full proposal. The Steering Committee expects both proposals to be submitted in English.
