I will recall the compactified moduli spaces of open-closed Riemann surfaces that I introduced last time (that is, Klein surfaces) and use them to define what an open-closed topological field theory is. In this setting, it turns out to be easy to state (and even prove) Costello's theorem on the cyclic homology of a Calabi-Yau category.
