Opening lecture of the exhibition "Pisé" at Archizoom.
Influenced and inspired by the simplicity and the aesthetics of pisé buildings, Roger Boltshauser takes an innovative approach towards the material. He’ ll show his own work and explain the transformative process by illustrating it with examples like the sports facility Sihlhölzli, the family home "Haus Rauch" and the "Ozeanium" in Basel. Roger Boltshauser will talk about the tradition of rammed earth buildings in France and Switzerland as well as the work of the Studio Boltshauser at EPFL.
