Aim
SNSF Postdoctoral Fellowships 2022 are for early-career researchers with Switzerland as destination, they replace the Marie Skłodowska Curie European fellowships. The scheme is open to all disciplines and topics, and is intended for young researchers who want to pursue research and training at a Swiss host institution. Call Documents available here.

Duration and funding
The duration of these fellowships is between 12 and 24 months. The grant includes the postdoctoral fellow’s salary with social security contributions, financial contributions to research, and conference costs. Project funds must not exceed CHF 24'000 for a two-year grant.

Requirements
Applicants can be of any nationality and from all disciplines. They must have a PhD degree and not more than 8 years of postdoctoral experience, since their PhD viva. They must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Switzerland for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediatly prior to the submission deadline (1 December 2022).
Support letters from the host institution and the host supervisor must be provided.

How to apply?
Applications are submitted online through the mySNF platform before 1 December 2022, 5pm Swiss time.
An SNSF account should be set up by 1 November 2022.
The deadline to request the Host Institution support letter from the EPFL Research office is 10 November 2022.
