Challenges in producting a-Si/uc-Si solar modules in the 25MW-Production Line at Sunfilm in Thalheim. Commercial TCO (SnO2:F) is used for production. Development has been done to bring in-house TCO based on texture etched ZnO:Al to industrialization.
In order to increase throughput, VHF-PECVD (40MHz) was developed to replace RF-PECVD (13.56MHz) for depositing a-Si.
