Water is in the soil, in the water tables, in the air, circulating, infiltrating, evaporating and everywhere linking territories together, designating their interdependence, making us dream of their solidarity. The watershed is not only this geographical line that separates watersheds but it is also the political line that connects individuals and groups who share something: water, a place, a landscape.
Based on this environmental and social observation, director Dominique Marchais surveys the Loire watershed to observe a community in a territory where the circulation of water influences the conciliation between human presence and preservation of the environment.
