The CTI accepts application-oriented projects in any research-based innovative field. Applications can be submitted at any time but at least 14 days before each evaluation meeting. The exact application deadlines can be found in the following document: CTI evaluation meeting 2017.
The Swiss Federal Offices (Federal office for the Energy, for the Environment, for the Roads etc.) may publish call for proposals. There is also punctual collaborations between the Swiss Federal Offices and the EPFL laboratories to perform studies in specific scientific research areas.
