SeminApero An event by PhD students in Civil and Environmental Engineering

You are invited to join your peers for a networking event the Thursday 3rd of November at 18:00, room GC C3 30. The goal is to bring doctoral students together to build and strengthen relations within the EDCE (Civil & Environmental Engineering) doctoral program. After an introduction of Prof. Michel Bierlaire, our doctoral program director, this casual seminar will last an hour and will be followed (of course) by an apéro allowing you to meet and socialize with your fellow doctoral students in a relaxed atmosphere. The presenters who will present their project in 5min are as follows:

- Minu Agarwal (IA/LIPID) "Determining appropriate Level of Detail (LoD) of façade elements for simulation based design evaluation"

- Mohsen Cheraghi (IIE/ECOL) "Landscape evolution in flume scale"

- Peter Hansen (IA/LIPID) "To be announced (something about light)"

- Martin Garcia (IS/RESSLAB) "Multiaxial fatigue"

Solenne Marion (IIE/EML) "On the border between health and disease: role of the bile acids 7-dehydroxylating bacteria in the gut"

- Ivan Stojnic (IS/LCH) "Stilling basin performance downstream of stepped spillways"     The event is free and there is no need to register!
