A presentation by Prof. Marilyne Andersen, Head of Laboratory of Integrated Performance in Design (LIPID) at EPFL and Academic Director of the smart living lab.

This lecture will explore current research efforts aiming towards a deeper integration of performance considerations in the design process, notably as they relate to daylighting and indoor comfort, by creating bridges between architectural design and other fields of science ranging from chronobiology and neuroscience, to psychophysics and computer graphics. The smart living lunches take place once a month from 11am to 1pm at the EPFL Fribourg to present the research activities of the smart living lab. A lunch is served after the presentation. These events are designed for the smart living lab's community.
