The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is participating in a multilateral call for proposals within the scope of the Southeast Asia – Europe Joint Funding Scheme.
The Joint Funding Scheme (JFS) brings together Southeast Asian and European researchers to collaborate on topics of interest for both sides. The JFS is a scheme for the multilateral pooling of resources to support collaborative projects.
The call is open to the following thematic areas:
- Sustainable food production (including nanotechnologies in sustainable food production)
- Climate change: resilience and adaptation (including social sciences-related and health-related climate change aspects)
Researchers in all disciplines are invited to submit project proposals that fit the thematic scope of the call.
Who can apply:
- Each consortium must consist of at least three research groups from three different countries; at least one person from each region must meet the eligibility criteria.
- Applicants from Switzerland must be eligible for SNSF project funding. Please have a look at the EPFL Toolkit for Project Funding. The SNSF invites you to contact them ([email protected]) to verify your eligibility and discuss your intentions.
Funding: For Swiss applicants, a maximum amount of CHF 250’000.- is allocated per project.
Duration: max. 3 years (36 months).
Deadline for proposals: 15 October 2021 at 12:00 (noon) CEST.
