The Swiss Industry Science Fund (SISF), the former Kontaktgruppe für Forschungsfragen – KGF, promotes scientific excellence in research and education in Switzerland, within the scope of its member companies: BASF, Novartis, Roche and Syngenta.
SISF supports:
- Scientific conferences, organizations, awards and special events in basic and applied research, for education and further development of students and scientists.
- Scientific areas covered include biology, chemistry and associated disciplines, with a focus on pharmaceutical R&D, life sciences and material sciences.
- Events must take place in Switzerland or nearby regions, and call for a substantial and active participation of Swiss-based scientists.
- Preference will be given to events open to broad, rather than local participation.
