Systemic approach to Urbanization-mobility process in the RUR. How to go beyond the hub-and-spoke paradigm.

As part of the Lausanne Studio of the TOD-IS-RUR ITN network, and in collaboration with the Habitat Research Center, the Public Seminar will focus on how the socio-ecological transition challenges the linear approach to mobility-urbanization process in the metropolitan territory. Questioning the mobility-urbanization pluralities in the frame of the recognition of ‘generalized urbanization’ and acknowledging the paradigm shift in terms of models introduced by ecological rationality as an agent of the territorial project.
