I will talk about the energetic coupling of scales in GK turbulence and emphasize the impact made by the magnetic geometry in determining the perpendicular scale length. While the fundamental properties of energy transfers in spectral space will be discussed, the presentation will concentrate on the spectral representation of scales in a filed-aligned coordinate system.
