The profession of architecture in the future will be data-enabled, expertise-driven and highly-integrated. To build this future, expand its relevance and leverage its design strength, the profession needs an established knowledge base defined by open exchange between educational institutions, research centers, and design practices. This demands a shift from individual to shared approaches, a fluid relationship between academia and the profession, and new models of collaborative research. Professor Lee will discuss integrated design strategies leading to the next generation of architecture culture.
