swissnex India along with the Swiss Science and Technology Office (S&T) Singapore is organising a focus group discussion – sketching the Swiss, Indian and Singaporean perspectives – on urban planning, transportation policy and electric mobility 0n 23, October, 2020, 1.30pm to 3.00pm IST. T
he curated experts session will have on-board researchers and domain specialists from EPFL Lausanne, Singapore-ETH Centre, SUPSI Lugano, WRI India and swissnex India. 
The focus group discussion aims to understand the various approaches, planning principles and policies being utilised in these countries and explore synergistic opportunities. Surround yourself with top researchers, industry players and start-ups, coming together to explore collaboration opportunities and learning from individual country scenarios. We would be happy to facilitate and curate opportunities for collaboration between Switzerland and India/Singapore. 

Over the last two decades, Swiss universities have strengthened their outreach to industry and their capacities to produce “spin-offs” and encourage entrepreneurial thinking. Going international and understanding the global markets was (and is) a key component of such start up and entrepreneurship programs. With both India and Singapore working on making an impact on the global stage both in the academia and start-up domains it makes sense to get the two major Asian economies together along with Switzerland which has been a major force in innovation swissnex India and the Swiss Science and Technology Office (S&T) Singaporeis organising a curatedfocus discussion group comprising researchers and experts from EPFL Lausanne, ETH Future Cities Lab (FCL), Singapore, SUPSI Lugano, WRI India and swissnexIndia to throw light on the current market trendsand studies on urban planning, transportation policy and electric mobility from the Swiss, India and Singaporean perspective.
