Organized in the framework of the MAS in Urban and Territorial Design (joint program ETHZ / EPFL), these public sessions will address the challenges of spatial, social, and energy transition through various contributions: from human geography, urban studies, spatial design, environmental studies, and system thinking.
With a focus on territorial realities and scales, these moments are conceived as a place for debate. Each session will conclude with questions from the audience, in which you are warmly welcome to participate.

This year’s theme is “Counterproject - Counterspaces”, the spatial dimension of any counterproject being at the center of our interest. Sessions will address issues such as the role of water in contemporary urban and territorial design, the political and social agency of space in contemporary society, the rapid transformation of economies and their spaces in contemporary cities, and agroecology as a concrete action within self-imposed boundaries.
