Event details

Date 11.07.2018
Category Call for proposal
Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP), the Department of Defense is announcing the Kidney Cancer Research Program (KCRP) for 2018. The KCRP Concept Award supports highly innovative, untested, potentially groundbreaking novel concepts in kidney cancer. The Concept Award is not intended to support an incremental progression of an already established research project but, instead, allows Principal Investigators (PIs) the opportunity to pursue serendipitous observations. This award mechanism supports high-risk studies that have the potential to reveal entirely new avenues for investigation. The proposed research must be relevant to active duty Service members, Veterans, military beneficiaries, and/or the American public.

Funding: Maximum USD $ 75’000

Duration: 1 year

Eligibility: Applicants from international organizations or institutions are eligible to apply, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Investigators at the level of Postdoctoral associate or higher are eligible to submit applications.

How to Apply: Pre-applications are submitted through the eBRAP platform. They should contain contact information, a list of collaborators and key personnel, a letter of intent, and supporting documents as suggested on the platform. Full applications (by invitation) will be made via a Grants.gov workspace. Full application packages can be downloaded from Grants.gov at any time.

Pre-Application Deadline: 11 July 2018, 5:00 p.m. EST (23:00 CET)
