Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP), the Department of Defense is announcing the Kidney Cancer Research Program (KCRP) for 2018. The KCRP Idea Development Award is intended to support innovative ideas and high-impact approaches based on scientifically sound evidence to move toward the KCRP vision of eliminating kidney cancer. The proposed research must be relevant to active duty Service members, Veterans, military beneficiaries, and/or the American public.
Funding: Maximum USD $ 400’000
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility: Applicants from international organizations or institutions are eligible to apply, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Investigators at the level of Assistant professor and less than 10 years from their terminal degree may apply as Early-Career Investigators. Independent investigators at the level of Assistant professor or higher and more than 10 years from their terminal degree may apply as Established Investigators. Personnel on the proposed team should have a strong background in kidney cancer research.

They should contain contact information, a list of collaborators and key personnel, a letter of intent, and supporting documents as suggested on the platform.
