Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP), the Department of Defense is announcing the Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program (PRCRP) for 2018. The Translational Team Science Award supports hypothesis-driven translational studies. These studies should be associated with a clinical trial and/or existing annotated biorepositories. The proposed project should focus on research for the next-phase clinical trial or future clinical application.
The FY18 PRCRP TTSA strongly encourages studies investigating:
To be considered for funding, applications for the FY18 PRCRP Career Development Award must address at least one of the FY18 PRCRP Topic Areas as directed by Congress. In addition, applications must also address at least one of the FY18 PRCRP Military Relevance Focus Areas. These lists are given at the end of this announcement.
Funding: Maximum USD $ 1’000’000
Duration: 4 years
Eligibility: Applicants from international organizations or institutions are eligible to apply, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Investigators at or above the level of Assistant Professor are eligible to submit applications.
How to Apply: Pre-applications are submitted through the eBRAP platform. They should contain contact information, a list of collaborators and key personnel, a proposal narrative, and supporting documents as suggested on the platform. Full applications (by invitation) will be made via a Grants.gov workspace. Full application packages can be downloaded from Grants.gov at any time.
