US DOD DARPA - Biological Technologies

Its Biological technology office (BTO) funds research related to the following topic areas:
-           Human Performance
-           Materials, Sensors, Processing
-           Ecosystem and Environmental
-           Biosecurity and Biosafety
-           Biomedical and Biodefense

This particular call is a two-step submission process, the first step being submission of an abstract of maximum 2 pages. There is no “typical” duration or budget, no preference on whether submissions should be individual or collaborative and the abstract should be sent electronically via the DARPA’s BAA Website.
