The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) calls for applications to the “Investigator Initiated Research Award” 2022 call on Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health.

The aim is to optimize the prevention, assessment, and treatment of psychological health conditions and/or traumatic brain injuries. Proposed research can be aligned with TBI, psychological health, or both.

The call seeks to fund research that accelerates solutions to improve the health, well-being, and healthcare of Service Members, Veterans, military beneficiaries, and the American public. The proposed research must be relevant to active-duty Service Members, Veterans, military beneficiaries, and/or the American public.

Research projects may focus on any phase of research from basic laboratory research through translational research, including preclinical studies in animal models and human subjects, as well as correlative studies associated with an existing clinical trial.

Preliminary data are required.

Who can apply: EPFL researchers are eligible to participate.

Funding & Duration: USD 500K for up to 36 months.
