Venture Challenge #3: Financing for startups

Venture Challenge is a workshop series where you can meet successful entrepreneurs and hear about their experience and recommandations on a specific entrepreneurial topic. These workshops adress students with an innovative startup idea or who are interested in entrepreneurship.

Attendance is limited so make sure to register here. Note that this event belongs to a series of three workshops (see other dates below), based on a mission and challenge approach to enhance the validation and execution of your business case.

Speaker: Tomas Sluka, CEO and Co-Founder of Creal
About: With 15 years of cutting-edge research experience, Tomas became an entrepreneur with the mission to bring entirely natural 3D imagery to Augmented Reality. Tomas completed his studies at the Technical University of Liberec in 2008, before acting as Researcher at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, CERN, EPFL, and the University of Geneva. Creal SA participed in the Venture Kick and Venture Leaders programs, before being ranked 5th best Swiss startup in 2022 by the Top 100 startup Award ranking. The startup closed a 4.3 million CHF Series A financing round in 2019, and a 6.5 million CHF funding in 2020.
