Webinar: US NIH Funding Opportunities for Researchers in Switzerland
Event details
Date | 20.02.2023 |
Hour | 15:00 › 16:30 |
Category | Miscellaneous |
The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is hosting a webinar on how to apply for grants from the US National Institute of Health (NIH) using their publicly available resources. The webinar is aimed at scientists and research performing organizations in Switzerland. NIH offers attractive funding opportunities similar to those of the SNSF, and many Swiss-based research organizations have competed for and been awarded NIH funding (including 5 ongoing awards at EPFL). The webinar is a unique opportunity to get an overview of how to approach applying for funding from NIH and what to consider when applying as a non-US researcher. It will also help you navigate the NIH system. The aim is to enhance your understanding of what is required for successful applications, either from you directly or when you apply as a collaborator on a US research award for NIH funding.
