How research goes public
Academic researchers need to master the craft of writing non-scientific texts for a large number of purposes, such as adapting a research topic for the general public, preparing content for a website or writing press releases. The two-day writing workshops offer young researchers the opportunity to practise their writing skills by doing different writing exercises based on the journalistic principles. This experience will enable them to communicate more effectively with journalists and the general public.

- 27 and 29 September 2016 (two full days)
Workshops in German:
MAZ in Lucerne:
- 30 August, 22 September, 20 October, 15 November 2016 (four half-days each)
Price:
The writing workshop costs CHF 1800. Researchers funded by the SNSF pay CHF 300. The Mercator Suisse Foundation bears the costs for its project managers and collaborators.
