EXTENDED Submission Deadline: IEEE Region 8 Student Paper Contest

Would you like to travel and participate to an international conference? Now you have a great opportunity!
The deadline for the submission to IEEE Student Branch at EPFL for the local selection has been shifted to Sunday November 10, 2013, 23H00!
If you are a master student and you did a good job during your semester or master project, you can write an article about it and present it to the IEEE Student Paper Contest. The finalist selected by the IEEE Student Branch at EPFL will participate in the IEEE Region 8 (Europe, Africa and Middle East) Student Paper Contest.
An international jury will then grade the written papers sent by Student Branches to the regional contest and will decide which papers will be accepted for presentation at the regional oral finals. The Regional Oral Finals for authors of the best five R8 SPC papers will be organized at IEEE R8 MELECON 2014 Conference, 13-16 April 2014, Beirut, Lebanon (http://melecon2014.org). In addition, finalist papers will be published in MELECON 2014 conference proceedings and included in IEEE Xplore Database. The winner will additionally receive a cash award.
For the editing of the paper, we are strongly advising you to use the IEEE templates that you can find here.
NB!! Please pay attention to the paragraphs 10 to 14 of "SPC Rules" (character of the paper and document layout), that you find at this link.
NB!! You can edit the paper in both Latex or MS Word, but please provide us by e-mail the pdf version only.
