Our in-house expert Dr Daniel Sage and Dr Romain Guiet (BIOP) will give a talk on Macros in ImageJ during our next imaging lunch. Open to all EPFL PhD students and Postdocs!

ImageJ macros enable the automation of tasks involving manipulation, processing, and analysis of scientific images. The scripting of such imaging operations increases productivity and serves to document image analysis protocols. In this workshop, we will demonstrate how easy it is to create macros, thanks to ImageJ's macro recorder. Therefore, we will show how to enrich the macros with programming elements in the macro language to establish useful image analysis pipelines.

The workshop is jointly organised by the EPFL Center for Imaging and the BIOP.
