Please take note that PSI (Paul Scherrer Institute) takes the responsibility to promote talented young scientists and engineers after a career break by providing fellowships for returning to science. This program was launched in 2009 for women as “Förderprogramm für Wiedereinsteigerinnen”. In 2015 it was also awarded to the first male fellow and is now open for female and male candidates.
The program applies to candidates who have been on a career break due to family commitments or mobility of the partner and hold a master or PhD degree in natural science or engineering.
Interested candidates can submit their application online for the „PSI Career Return Program” until 30 April 2017.
