BIOENGINEERING SEMINAR
Abstract:
In this talk, we survey methods from quantitative graph theory. This relates to techniques to determine the complexity of networks and their structural similarity/distance. The methods will be underpinned by several application cases.
Bio:
Matthias Dehmer is Professor at UMIT (The Health and Lifesciences University, Hall in Tyrol, Austria), since 2011, and Head of the Institute for Bioinformatics and Translational Research.
His h-index equals 21 and his i10-index equals 45. His total number of citations is 1408.
Education:
2008 Habilitation in Applied Discrete Mathematics at Vienna University of Technology, Austria
2005 PhD in Computer Science from Darmstadt University of Technology, Germany
1997 Diplom-Mathematiker from University of Siegen, Germany
