Celebrating JOSEPH F ENGELBERGER Award for Professor Reymond Clavel

The EPFL robotics community is pleased to invite you to the award ceremony of the JOSEPH F ENGELBERGER Award for Professor Reymond Clavel, Thursday 13.06, 17:30, CO1 EPFL, one of the most prestigious awards in robotics, presented by the A3 - Association for Advancing Automation.

The award will be presented in the presence of the president of EPFL, Martin Vetterli, and the award presentation will be made by Roy Fraser, representative of the A3 association. Registration: Link 

This year, three Joseph Engelberger awards have been given:

• Professor Reymond Clavel, for his pioneering role in the invention of the Delta robot concept.
• Dr. Marc-Olivier Demaurex (former Director of Demaurex SA), for his vision and commercialization of the Delta robot.
• Joe Gemma, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Wauseon Machine, for his leadership and over 35 years in the automation industry. Joe Gemma is also a former president and board member of the International Federation of Robotics (IFR).
