Concert

Music by Mozart and Beethoven.



Led by the talented Indonesian violinist Ken Lila Ashanti, the OChE has been rehearsing since March to prepare a program bringing together the rhythms of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony with the elegance of Mozart’s Ouverture from Così fan tutte and Oboe Concerto.
OChE’s programs are also an opportunity for young professional musicians to coach their fellow amateur musicians and, in some occasions, to perform as a soloist. Such is the case for the upcoming concert, in which Mathilde Villevière, who since the first season of the OChE has been coaching the wind section as principal oboe, will play as a soloist in a reference piece of the oboe repertoire.
OChE members look forward to welcoming an even bigger audience than usual to the Salle Polyvalente and St-Jacques Church.
